Sandy Rollins "We expanded our funding base by approaching new donors and receiving many first-time donations.
"In just four and a half months, this 52-year-old woman went from never running to completing a half-marathon with a smile on my face.
"My cholesterol went from good to excellent after two months of training.
"We met cool people who were kind and encouraging.
"And we raised a few thousand dollars which this nonprofit desperately needs!"
Through All Tri, Sandy and her daughter Emma Fullinwider (shown above) raised more than $4,000 for the Texas Tenants' Union, an organization for which Sandy also serves as executive director.
