HOW IT WORKS
Philanthropy+fitness
All Tri coaches you, encourages you, and helps you reach a minimum fundraising goal which pays for most training, event entry and event travel costs.
Many national charities raise money for their own operations through running, triathlon, walking and bicycling endurance event training programs.
All of these charity fundraising events and campaigns spend money to make money.
The Better Business Bureau's Wise Giving Alliance says that charities should spend no more than 35% percent of related contributions on fundraising.
All Tri keeps its cost of fundraising at 25%.
With All Tri:
you will be coached to complete an endurance event and achieve a fundraising goal,
your proceeds benefit the cause of your choice, and
75% of the funds you raise will go directly to your beneficiary's mission.
All Tri is a volunteer-powered non-profit organization. All Tri also receives direct contributions that help us help you help others.
As such, 25% percent of your minimum fundraising goal is all that All Tri retains to help cover the out-of-pocket costs of training and sending you to your event.
These out-of-pocket costs include your event travel expenses, race entry fees, bike shipments for triathlons, a pre-race carbo-loading dinner, an online training tool with a customized training program, your training coach, group swim workout facilities for triathlons, and more.
Your minimum fundraising goal will vary based on the event for which you are training.
All Tri participants are responsible for
whatever personal equipment is required for their training program (such as running shoes, plus a bicycle, swim goggles and bike helmet if training for a triathlon) and their individual training activity (such as access to a pool).
All Tri participants also required to provide a $150 non-refundable registration fee to activate their training program. This amount does not count toward minimum fundraising goals. |
